In this inaugural 6-part season of Epic Adventures, we'll scale Switzerland’s Matterhorn, elephant trek the remote jungles of Thailand, traverse Patagonia’s rugged landscape, explore Hong Kong's natural side and follow in the footsteps of Dr. Livingstone on the banks of Zambia’s Zambezi River.
Hong Kong, Asia's World City, offers a universe of things to do and places to see. Host Danielle DiLorenzo tries to capture all that Hong Kong is in this Epic Adventures episode. From hanging out over Victoria Harbor (literally) and flying off the Dragon's Back to getting schooled in the art of Tai Chi, racing dragon boats and exploring HK's electrifying streets and markets, join Danielle on a Hong Kong adventure that is nothing short of Epic!
Zermatt, Switzerland -
Can our host make it to the Matterhorn Summit? In this episode we’ll find out! Breathtaking scenery, pristine alpine meadows, summer skiing and folk festivals, Epic Adventures experiences it all while never losing sight of the show’s mission — to always strive to achieve new heights no matter where we are in the world.
Thailand – Jungle Trek and Monasteries -
From the remote village of Mae Sot on Thailand’s western border with Myanmar, we head out first by raft through the Umphang Wildlife Sanctuary then on elephant back to reach the "Long Hair Karen" people and the amazing Thi Lo Su waterfall. After spending the night with the hill tribe, we travel to Chiang Mai for morning prayers with the monks at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep.
Chile - Patagonia’s Allure -
With its rugged landscape and remote valleys, Patagonia remains one of the most pristine areas of the world. We’ll trek the mountains, test our horsemanship skills with local gauchos and sample the regional cuisine.
Zambia – Following the Footsteps of Dr. Livingstone -
From a canoe safari past pods of hippos to "glamping" in luxury camps on the banks of the Zambezi River, this episode finds us deep in the African wild. After close encounters with Africa's wildlife we head to Victoria Falls to swim, glide and hang off of the largest sheet of falling water in the world.
Fiji – Surfs Up! -
Did someone say Kava? After participating in a communal Kava Ceremony, what else should a traveler do in Fiji? Plenty! There’s an ocean of tropical fish to watch, the perfect wave to catch and a surf culture that knows how to celebrate! Can our host survive through this Fijian adventure? Tune in and find out.
